Over $10,000 was raised for autism awareness at The Great Gatsby Beauty Competition And Gala.
Each year New York Institute of Beauty and Long Island Beauty School host a competition in make-up, hair, and nails to raise money on behalf of Team Jack-Autism Speaks, Long Island Chapter.
This year the event took place at Chateau La Mer. The theme? Great Gatsby.
The highlights? Performance by the Wild Cherryz burlesque dancers and a red carpet appearance from Long Island’s own, singer Nick Tangorra.
Drag Super Star Xtah C Extraordinaire was the guest celebrity judge of the hair and beauty competition.
