Carlos has been in the beauty industry for 20+ years. His love for beauty products had led him to pursue a career in Cosmetology. After becoming a licensed Cosmetologist, he began working at salons and was soon sharing and educating his product knowledge with new hires.

Carlos has had the opportunity to work with various beauty companies, one being L’Oreal Professional where he educated other beauty professionals.

Makeup artistry has always been a passion for Carlos. He has always been amazed of the power of makeup and the amazing transformations it can create. He wanted to further his education in makeup artistry so he enrolled in the Beauty Essentials Course here at NYIB. He participated in many Make Up Team events including NYFW and soon became a Lead Make Up Artist for the team.

Currently, you can find Carlos teaching our Beauty Essentials Makeup Course here at NYIB. Carlos also continues work in a salon and studio and in his down time enjoys staying connected with nature, being active and relaxing at home with his family.
