Environ® was launched 25 years ago by plastic surgeon, Dr. Des Fernandes, in response to a growing awareness of the dangers of the sun and its impact on the skin. Each product is developed and formulated to help achieve maximum effectiveness of vitamins, peptides and other proven ingredients for the appearance of a healthy and beautiful skin. Environ® pioneered the use of effective doses of Vitamin A (predominantly as retinyl palmitate, retinyl acetate and retinol) and antioxidants which allows their use without a retinoid reaction and/or aggravated, problematic skin. In addition, Environ® uses a patented stabilized, gentle and highly efficacious, fat soluble form of Vitamin C to assist with the look of lax skin, pigmentation, and fine lines.
Our goal will be to educate attendees on the benefits of utilizing a pharmaceutical grade product, containing key active ingredients, to augment the results of cosmetic and medical procedures.
In this advanced presentation, Environ®’s Master Trainer, Toni Lee Roldan-Ortiz, will discuss the physiology of the skin and what factors influence aging. She will review the most important skin care ingredients and their effects in helping to maintain the appearance of a more youthful and healthy-looking skin.
Toni Lee’s presentation will include the factors that influence the aging process, hyperpigmentaiton and acne including intrinsic causes, genetics, the environment, life style, sun exposure and the damage UV causes on the skin. The science behind free radical damage, wound healing, and the ingredients to combat the untoward results from the above factors will be reviewed.
