Students will learn what microdermabrasion is, skin physiology concerning microdermabrasion, contraindications, specific applications for microdermabrasion, the importance of client consultation, analysis of skin conditions, client prepping, marketing of microdermabrasion procedures, and what to look for in a microdermabrasion unit.
