Snapshot Art Exhibition

Stop by The White Room Gallery (2415 Main Street, Bridgehampton) to see the modern snapshot elevated to high art. The gallery’s Snapshot art exhibition celebrates humanity, combining the ambience of a cocktail party through the captivating artwork. You truly come face-to-face with the fine art and will be fully engaged. The exhibition’s reception was earlier this month, but it’ll continue to be shown throughout Memorial Day Weekend. 

Sylvia by the Hampton Theatre Company

The Hampton Theatre Company is running a play that anyone from New York can identify with, as a sassy stray dog from Central Park sparks contention between a couple. Part lab, part poodle, part drama and completely captivating, this is a show that’ll entertain all adults from the city. Performances start May 27 and run for about two weeks, including the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend (no Monday performances).

Strawberry Festival

It’s Strawberry Season! Visit the certified organic U-pick strawberry field, perfect for all ages. Admissions tickets are $9.95, and children under 2 are free. The admissions included unlimited access to the strawberry fields, the family field sections, pedal karts, hay tower, farm animals and more! Be sure to call beforehand to see if there are berries available for picking. Opening day will be May 29th, between 9:00AM and 6:00 PM.

Southampton Farmers and Artisans Market

The Southampton Farmers and Artisans Market is back for the season, and Memorial Day Weekend is sure to be a major kickoff for both vendors and shoppers alike. Visit the various booths to pick up some fresh produce and organic meat, or look for that one-of-a-kind piece that’ll be the perfect complement to your outfit or home decor. Visit the Southampton Farmers and Artisans Market on Sunday’s between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Birdwatching for Beginners (Kid-Friendly)

Connect Kids to Parks will be hosting a Birdwatching for Beginners class on Monday at 11:00 AM. — which is a good time both for birds and for children. Come and learn about the native fauna, and let your kids enjoy the outdoors. It’s a unique experience for your child and even yourself! Even if they end up not interested, there’s plenty of space to run around.
