Since the early 2000’s, Facial injections have come a long way since the frozen Botox faces.
Today, dermal fillers and yes, good old Botox®, offer men and women of all ages skin and facial features they can feel good about. Here are a few of the trends you should be aware of:
Lip Fillers That Moisturize
Fillers have been used for years to add volume to the lips and deliver that oh-so-desirable pout.
But today, clients want more than just a pout. The latest trend the clients want is shiny, healthy, well-moisturized lips. The demand has gone up dramatically due to this new social trend within the last few years. Celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner, have influenced lip fillers all over the world to get the look of moisturized lips, just like them
Early Botox
Growing up, many of us were under the assumption that Botox was the only to fix serious wrinkles.
That’s not the case anymore. Today, Dermatologists and Estheticians agree that they have seen a surge of clients as young as 25-30 that are seeking Botox for the first time. This is due to wrinkle prevention as well as aesthetic purposes to stay within the social trends.
Getting Botox (and other dermal injections) early makes aging more “seamless.” The theory is that if you know you’re probably going to want dermal injections in your 40s and 50s, you should ease them in when you’re in your 30s. That way, you don’t suddenly go from wrinkles and lack of volume to smooth, taut skin overnight when you’re 45.
For those who are roughly 25 years old, you would think they aren’t even considering Botox yet. However, within the last decade, people have been investing thousands of dollars into Botox for facial aesthetic purposes. People see celebrities and their perfect complexion and strive to have the same look to build up their personal confidence.
Fillers for Under Eye Bags
Many people (women especially) struggle with dark under eye bags. Without regular moisturizing and anti-bag treatments, plus layers of various concealer colors, they look tired and worn out — even when they’re not.
Add in wrinkles and fine lines, it becomes a recipe for disaster trying to correct it all.
Dermal fillers are a great way to “puff” up the area by adding some volume and brightness. This process is called “tear trough correction,” which involves a trained seasoned professional in a medical office. The tear trough correction instantly shows a visible difference in the area. For this reason, dermal fillers will remain a high demand, especially for woman to keep their youth and look refreshed every day.
The topic of Botox and Fillers has been the latest demand within the industry. It’s a topic that won’t go away anytime soon and will continue to evolve and grow over the next few decades.
