Technology
NYIB’s Esthetics and Advanced Esthetics Programs are offered with a Hybrid Curriculum. This means all students will complete approximately 40% of their program via Distance Education. NYIB requires all students to meet a level of computer skill that would allow for success of our Hybrid Programs.

During Distance Education Weeks, students are required to be visible on camera for the entirety of their session, in a distraction free, well-lit space. Students must be upright, in a seated position, able to fully focus on class and instruction. Students who fail to meet these requirements will be removed from the class and may not earn all hours.

During Distance Education Weeks, students will be using multiple platforms and websites during class time. It is imperative that students are capable of navigating these platforms as well as submitting all assignments accurately in order to accrue all grades and time. It is a student’s responsibility to have the knowledge and skillset to successfully complete this portion of education

On-Site/Hands-On Skills
NYIB’s Esthetics and Advanced Esthetics Programs are offered with a Hybrid Curriculum. This means all students will complete approximately 60% of their program On-Site. NYIB requires all students to come to class daily On-Site in uniform, with all necessary supplies, and to be following all rules and guidelines.

Students On-Site must come to class daily “Clinic Ready.” This means full white scrub uniform, white socks, white sneakers, hair up, nails free of any polish or tips, no jewelry, and uniform must be clean and wrinkle-free.
