Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a mechanical and superficial form of exfoliation. This type of treatment can be used on all skin concerns but is largely used to target pigmentation, congestion, and removal of vellus hair. Dermaplaning treatment is performed with a surgical steel blade using a scraping movement technique across the skin. This is an alternative treatment that can help remove dead skin cells and allow deeper product penetration. The students will understand the theory behind dermaplaning, candidates for the service, contraindications, benefits of the treatment, and how to properly and safely perform the service.
Pre Req: Licensed Estheticians or Cosmetologists only.
Students will receive a Certificate of Completion. This is NOT a DermaplanePro course.
