Kim is a licensed Esthetician who graduated from Aveda Institute of New York. One year after practicing Esthetics in a Holistic Spa, Kim earned her Oncology Trained Esthetics certificate from Oncology Spa Solutions.

Kim is currently teaching Esthetics and Oncology Skin Therapy at New York Institute of Beauty. Kim is highly passionate and motivated to educate students and licensed Estheticians about the importance of caring for clients who suffer from skin conditions caused by the effects of anti-cancer drug therapy and/or radiation treatment. “I believe it is our responsibility as skin therapists to provide a measure of comfort, compassion and care to any client suffering from compromised skin caused by cancer treatment.”

Prior to earning her license in Esthetics, Kim received her Bachelors Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration from New York Institute of Technology and Masters in Education from Dowling College. Kim uses her knowledge and skills from each area of her background to provide her students with a multifaceted learning experience of professional skin care and quality customer service.
