AS Accounting

Michelle has been interested in the field of Accounting since she took her first accounting class in High School. Shortly after, she began her first Bookkeeping job for Genovese Drug Stores. She worked her way up through the ranks and learned many new skills along the way.

Michelle decided to earn her Accounting degree. She attended SCCC full-time in the evening and was able to earn her AS in Accounting. She went on to study at Stonybrook University and is in the process of completing her BS degree in Business Management.

Aside from managing the financial needs of the school, as Bursar at New York Institute of Beauty, Michelle keeps track of student financials, attendance records, and addresses student questions and/or concerns regarding their accounts.
