What does NYIB Early Acceptance mean?
NYIB Early Acceptance allows High School Seniors to apply for admittance to New York Institute of Beauty early. Our Fall season is the busiest time for us, and many of our classes sell out months in advance. By applying early, not only will you be able to ensure you get the start date and schedule you want, but students will get a head start on Financial Aid assistance, special VIP invites to workshops and classes prior to starting class, additional guidance from NYIB Admissions Team, and more. This allows for a stress-free transition from High School to the next stage of your life!
What are the steps for NYIB Early Acceptance?
The steps are pretty simple:
Students (and parents!) must schedule an appointment to come visit NYIB and tour the campus. During this time, the Admissions Team will review our programs, financial options, student life, and more! These tours are offered Monday- Friday, with afternoon and evening appointments available to come by after school/work.
Students must complete an NYIB Early Acceptance application. This application should take students around 10-15 minutes to complete and need to be submitted to the NYIB Admissions Team no later than March 31st, 2025.
Once submitted via email to the NYIB Admissions Team, the application will be reviewed by the team, and prospective students will receive the team’s decision on acceptance in about two weeks.
If accepted, prospective students will schedule their enrollment appointment and provide the following documentation:

- A letter from their Guidance Counselor outlining that the prospective student is on track to graduate in June 2025 with a valid High School Diploma.
- Proof of Date of Birth (Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Passport)
- Social Security Card or TAX ID
During this time, students will also confirm their schedule of choice and select a start date for either August or September 2025.
Once enrolled, Early Acceptance students will be given a list of upcoming reminders, deadlines, events, and more. The NYIB Admissions Team will also be in constant contact with the Student, ensuring they are the first to know about what’s going on at NYIB. This will help ensure each student feels confident and prepared to join us in the Fall.
Once prospective students have completed their enrollment, they have officially registered for Fall 2025! Congratulations!

Not only will you be able to confidently say what you will be doing in the Fall, but Early Accepted Students have access to additional resources to prepare you for the next step. This includes workshops, invite only events, first priority meetings with our Financial Aid Office and Student Services, a Meet & Greet in August, and more. Early Accepted Students will also receive a complimentary NYIB sweatshirt, so that you can proudly show off where you will be come September.
