Again, the time required for any advanced education will differ based upon the modalities or information required. New York Institute of Beauty has the distinction of being the first school in New York to develop and implement a state approved 900-hour Advanced Esthetics curriculum. For the advanced program at NYIB, an additional 300 hours of training is needed in order to graduate with an Advanced Esthetics certification. Students who are new to esthetics will have to finish a total of 900 hours of course training to complete the advanced program, while those who have already successfully completed a 600-hour approved course will only need to take the additional 300 hours to graduate!
