Your Favorite Beauty Show Canceled? Here Are Some Virtual Events to Check Out

As coronavirus restrictions continue to cause closures of major skincare and beauty events across the nation, many of our students and graduates are looking for alternative ways to continue learning and honing their skills. Fortunately, many virtual events can fill the same role as live shows.

If your favorite beauty event was cancelled, check out these virtual alternatives.

International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conferences

Follow the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conferences (IESC) account on Facebook to get live updates on the most recent shows for spa owners, makeup artists, cosmetologists, massage therapists, estheticians, and others in the beauty industry. While IESC usually has shows in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Florida, many of their events are now going virtual because of the novel coronavirus. Check their upcoming events for the most recent virtual opportunities to further your education and expand your horizons.

L+A Virtual Skin Care Festival

The Lipgloss + Aftershave Virtual Skin Care Festival already took place via Zoom, but if you missed it, dont worry! A recording of each session can be replayed at your leisure. All you need to do is click the link, download the Lipgloss + Aftershave app, tap Education,” and navigate to Watch the Replay” to begin. Sessions are full of free information, education, and advice for up-and-comers in the beauty industry.

The Makeup Show

For the makeup artist, this is the show. From education and networking to seeing the latest products, this show is a favorite. In lieu of the live event, The Makeup Show has created a virtual version on September 13 – 14th. There will be 25 education sessions and a virtual trade show floor with the opportunity to purchase products with a professional discount. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.themakeupshow.com/virtual/.

Spa Industry Association Events

Looking for more virtual beauty events? Right now, everythings up in the air concerning upcoming events. Late summer and fall events appear to be cancelled for good, but time will tell whether events in the winter and spring of 2021 will also be cancelled. In the meantime, its best to be prepared for possible closures, and the best way to do that is to stay tuned with the upcoming virtual events posted by the Spa Industry Association. This will be your best resource for nationwide and regional skincare and beauty events, most of which will be available online (sometimes for free) no matter where you are located.
